To my students, there is hope
The state of the world, it seems, is just driving us to remain under the doona. To give up, to not venture forth. For, on the one hand you’ve got the prospect of unmitigated climate change, on the other there’s all these COVID stresses. Then, you remember that there’s all these global hotspots like the South China Sea, the Crimean peninsula, and the like. And then …. there’s the worry about what robots will do to jobs. Sigh!
